2015: The Exorcism of Laura

Exorcisms aren’t just relics of the past. In 2015, a dramatic exorcism was filmed in Argentina. A 22-year-old woman named Laura was exorcised by Bishop Manuel Acuna. As the ceremony progressed, Laura screamed obscenities, thrashed around, and banged her head. According to reports, the exorcism ended with the evil spirits leaving her, marked by the bishop making the sign of the cross.
