2010: Kristy Bamu

On Christmas Day 2010, a horrifying exorcism attempt took place in London. Kristy Bamu, a 15-year-old boy, was tortured and drowned by his sister and her friend in an effort to expel evil spirits they believed had taken control of him. The BBC reported that they used knives, hammers, and metal bars in their brutal attempts. Tragically, Kristy was tortured until he begged to die. His sister and her friend were convicted of his murder.
