How to Use Neem Oil Properly?

Neem oil should be applied to plants at dusk or dawn to protect pollinators like bees and prevent leaf scorching from the sun. Avoid using it during extreme temperatures or rainy conditions. The ideal concentration for a neem oil spray is about 1:100 (one part neem to 100 parts water) to prevent plant damage. You can also apply neem oil as a soil drench, where the roots absorb its active ingredients to ward off pests. While neem oil is generally safe for pets, keep them away during application to avoid skin or eye irritation.
