On July 1, NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission successfully recovered and stored a sample from the surface of the asteroid Bennu. The Canadian OSIRIS-REx Laser Altimeter (OLA) sensor on board the spacecraft was instrumental in choosing the Nightingale sample site.
